Connect with Remote Desktop (RDP)

To connect, you need three things:

Information	Where to find it
IP address	VPS dashboard, IPv4 block (with a copy button)
Username	Administrateur
Password	The one set when ordering

Username

In 100% of cases, the username is Administrateur (in French, even though the portal shows Administrator). The password is the one you set when ordering.

From Windows

1. Open the Start menu, type mstsc then Enter: Remote Desktop Connection opens
2. Computer: paste the VPS IP address, then Connect
3. When Windows asks for credentials, click More choices → Use a different account
4. Username: Administrateur, Password: the one from your order
5. Accept the certificate warning (normal for a new server): the VPS desktop shows up

Copy files to the VPS

Before connecting, open Show Options → Local Resources → More… and tick your drives: they will show in the VPS file explorer. Copy-paste also works between your PC and the VPS.

From a Mac

1. Install Windows App (formerly Microsoft Remote Desktop) from the App Store
2. + → Add PC, enter the VPS IP address
3. Sign in with Administrateur and your password

From a phone or tablet

Install Windows App (iPhone, iPad) or Microsoft Remote Desktop (Android), add a PC with the IP address, then sign in with Administrateur and your password.

Transfer files

To send files without Remote Desktop, enable the SFTP server and use FileZilla or WinSCP.

What if RDP doesn’t respond?

Use the portal console: it works even when Remote Desktop is unreachable. See also troubleshooting.
